Here Comes Peter Cotton-tail

Hoppin' down the bunny trail...
I don't remember one year in this life that we haven't dyed Easter Eggs.
I'm 25, my sister is 29, and the Easter Bunny still brings us baskets on Easter morning.
Even more so, he brings baskets for our husbands as well.
I guess the end will come to that when we have children of our own, but until then, I can't wait to dig into my 10 lbs of candy come Sunday morning!

Our Friday night egg coloring was a hoot - the older we get, the uglier our eggs become.
The need to have the prettiest egg has diminished and been replaced with who makes the craziest/weirdest/joke egg over the years.
We had a blue Calapari egg for UK, a black sharpied "Camaro" egg for David {which says "Steph" on the other side since he has designated that egg to be thrown at me sometime today... we'll see who wins that game}, a red baseball eggs for the Cincinnati Reds, and then a whole lot of eggs that just got plastered with whatever dye/paint brush/pound of glitter we had in our hand at the time.
Like everything else in his world, Hendrix loved licking the eggs to death.
I also go to see my niece and nephew for the first time in a while.
I know I say this everytime I see them, but THEY HAVE GOTTEN HUGE!
Too bad I didn't see the link on MSN for tips on making Martha Stewart Easter eggs. Maybe next year.

Big family dinner today here at my parents! Can't wait to see the relatives... and to stuff myself silly with good food =)

Have a great... umm, what's the day called between Good Friday and Easter? Oh, yeah...

SATURDAY!
